Who we are
nezt is a property search platform for verified corporate and startup employees in India, operated from India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

What we collect
•
Work email: used only to verify your employment against an allow-listed company domain. It is never shown to other members and never used to contact you.
•
First name and full name: only your first name is shown to other members.
•
Employer: derived from your work email domain, shown to other members as your trust signal.
•
Personal contact email: used only by us to reach you. Verification codes go to your work email; notifications about new messages go to your personal email.
•
Mobile number (optional): not shown to other members.
•
Listings you post: title, description, price, address, locality, pincode, map pin coordinates, photos and amenities.
•
Messages you send in chat with other members.
•
Your declared intent and city, if you tell us on a waitlist or landing page.
•
Campaign attribution: utm parameters and the landing page you arrived from.
•
Device and browser basics, and product analytics events. Analytics events do not carry your name or email.
•
Cookies and local storage: used to keep you signed in and to remember where you were headed before sign-in.
How we use it
•
Verification and access control: checking your work email against allow-listed company domains.
•
Showing your listings and enquiries to other verified members.
•
Sending notifications by email, such as a new message.
•
Operating, maintaining and improving the service.
•
Preventing abuse: enforcing the two-listings-per-person-per-6-months limit and the company allow-list.
What other members see
Other members see your first name, your employer, and the content and photos of any listing you post. They never see your work email, your personal email or your phone number.
Third parties we use
We use a small number of processors to run the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your contact details with brokers or advertisers.
•
Supabase: database, authentication and file storage, hosted in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region.
•
Google Maps Platform: address search and map pins when you search a locality or place a pin on a listing.
•
Zoho ZeptoMail: sending transactional email such as sign-in codes and message notifications.
•
A static web host, for serving this website.
•
Product analytics (PostHog), where enabled, for anonymous usage events.
Retention
•
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists.
•
The listing quota ledger survives deleting a listing: a record that a listing existed is kept so we can enforce the two-per-6-months limit, even after the listing itself is deleted.
•
Messages are kept until the conversation or the account is deleted.
•
You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing privacy@zivetech.in.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it erased. You also have the right to grievance redressal.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@zivetech.in. We will respond as required by law.
nezt is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
